About the Role:
Join Discovery Point - Old Peachtree as a Ga Pre-K Lead Teacher and inspire young minds in a nurturing environment. We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to fostering a love for learning in our Pre-K students.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Georgia Pre-K standards.
- Create a warm, welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance curriculum and classroom activities.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
- Incorporate play-based learning and hands-on activities to promote active engagement.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Valid Georgia teaching certification in Early Childhood Education.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Willingness to collaborate and be part of a dynamic teaching team.
